C & J SPORTS  was started by Jim  in 1992 in Eureka Springs. In 2002 George & Norma   bought  the hwy 187 property ,the Butler's all  teamed up  and the new C & J Sports was born. Now the #1  PADI Dive center on Beaver Lake C & J Sports Owners and Staff are here to  serve all your diving needs.

Over the last six years Ive assisted in hundreds of cerfifications, Now that I have finshed my instructor training I look forward to many more wonderful years in the Diving Industry,  I enjoy seeing others learn to dive.

 Joe Hobbs became a Scuba Instructor at C&J Sports, because Joe was looking for a dive site where he could learn (and eventually teach) the sport he loves.  C&J Sports offered the training he needed, and demonstrated the same level of commitment to safety toward and love for the sport that Joe subscribes to.  Joe has been an completed all phases of scuba training (Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Dive Master and Assistant Instructor) at C&J Sports, then obtained his Instructor certification through PADI, and began teaching at C&J Sports.

Joe's teaching philosophy is:  "Teach every student to respect all safety guidelines, thereby teaching them to love and respect the sport."  He is committed to ensuring that every student is comfortable and knowledgeable with all aspects of scuba diving before they leave his class.  He makes himself available to answer any questions or concerns that his students may have both during and after classes, he wants every student to leave the class experience with all the knowledge and skills needed to be a safe scuba diver, and equipped with enthusiasm for pursuing the diving sport.

Joe is a Christian, a Vietnam Veteran, has been married for forty-two years, has two daughters, and three grandchildren now, with one more on the way.  Life just doesn't get any better!  Joe looks forward to meeting you, and making sure that you’ll look back on your decision to take a scuba class as being one of the best decisions you ever made.

Based out of Kansas City, Jennifer is an MSDT instructor and working toward IDC Staff to be completed in Spring/Summer 2011.  She is a Public Safety Diver instructor and can instruct  in Eureka Springs.  She is on the dive team for Lees Summit Underwater Rescue and Recovery Dive Team. She loves to dive year around at Beaver Lake.
